Scarborough RUFC and Scarborough College work together to develop players. Key steps in the pathway include participation in the Yorkshire RFU Developing Player Programme (DPP) and the RFU Player Pathway, with the goal of progressing from community rugby to professional academies and potentially the Premiership. The recent appointment of Ben Foden to a dual role at the college and club aims to strengthen this pathway by creating more opportunities and connections to higher-level rugby.
